Are there any common tells I should look for while playing?

I think it is very hard to pick up on tells when you are up against good players. When you are playing bad ones, it is much easier. I think most of the time you get a feeling from the general mannerisms of the other players. And, instead of trying to pick up on tells, you will do better to try to figure out their playing style. If it was easy to pick up on tells, then amateur players wouldn't keep winning the WSOP.

Learning tells is not easy. I try and keep track of players betting style. Many players are scared to bluff and will check when they don't have anything or they are chasing a flush or straight. Try to bet them out of the hand before they catch that straight or flush. Make it very expensive for them to see the turn or the river.
